Bio

Nick Feekes, 81, of Sheldon, died Friday, April 21 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, April 24, 1:30 p.m. in ihe Bethel Reformed Church with the Rev. William B. Miller officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Andringa Funeral Home. Mr. Feekes was born on Nov. 15, 1890 at Carmel. He married Jennie Rozeboom on Feb. 17, 1916 at Sheldon. He farmed near Archer until retirement to Sheldon. He is a charter member of the Bethel Reformed Church at Sheldon. Survivors are his widow, a son, John of Archer, six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Schoep and Mrs. William Van Berkum of Carmel and Mrs. Neal Vonk of Rock Valley, three brothers, Oepke of Sioux Center, Gradus and William of Carmel.
