Requiem Mass Held Mon. For John Jupe John Jupe, 77, of Route 2, West, died Saturday morning in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Chapel, West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours, Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial was in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Tours. Mr. Jupe was born in Tours and lived there all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church. He was a World War I veteran. Survivors are his wife; six daughters, Mrs. Albert (Willa Mae) Weissinger of Route 1, Elm Mott, Mrs. Dan (Adele) Williams of Lake Providence, La., Mrs. James (Leona) Swatzel of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Harvey (Sarah) Mandel of Route 2, West, and Mrs. Bobby (Dianna) Moore of West; four sons, Ralph L. Jupe of West, John A. Jupe of San Jose, Calif., and James K. Jupe and David E. Jupe, both of Route 2, West; five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hennig and Mrs. Martin Schroeder, both of Route 2, West, Miss Bertha Jupe and Mrs. Emilie Goodman, both of Waco, and Sister Leona Jupe of Harlingen; three brothers, Alois Jupe of San Antonio, Ed Jupe of Waco and Frank Jupe of Route 2, West; 21 grandchildren.
