Bio

Alois L. Jupe, 87, of San Antonio, native of Tours, died Tuesday in a San Antonio hospital after a brief illness. Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, immediately followed by the funeral mass, the Rev. Frank Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Jupe was founder of Louis Feed Mills and Jupe Lumber Co. in San Antonio. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Millie Jupe of San Antonio; three daughters, Sister Mary Elizabeth Jupe of San Antonio, Mrs. Ollie Brehm of San Antonio, and Mrs. Wilfred Theis of Pleasanton; four sons, Alvin Jupe, Bill Jupe, Ernest Jupe and Ray Jupe, all of San Antonio; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hennig of West, Mrs. Emilie Goodman and Mrs. Bertha Jupe of Waco, and Sister Leona Jupe of Harlingen; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
