Bio

Willie Mae Jupe Weissinger of Waco, a homemaker, died Sunday at a local nursing home. She was 73. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Isidor Rozycki officiating. Burial will be at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy. Mrs. Weissinger was born March 17, 1922, in Tours where she was raised and educated. She was a homemaker and a volunteer worker for the Geneva Hall. She loved gardening and canning and was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Weissinger. Survivors include three daughters, Antonette Straten of Elm Mott, Debora Vrba of Leroy and Carolyn Bood of Waco; four brothers, Ralph Jupe of Whitney, John Jupe of Fresno, Calif., and Kerwin Jupe and Gene Jupe, both of Tours; five sisters, Adele Williams of Translyvania, La., Leona Swatzel of Santa Anna, Calif., Betty Jenson of Dallas, Sarah Mandel of Mart and Diane Moore of Elm Mott; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Gerald Cemetery Association or to the Leroy Fire Department. Aderhold Funeral Home in West is in charge of arrangements.
