Mrs. Martin L. (Agnes) Schroeder, 81, of 1025 Hamilton died Sunday evening in a local hospital. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Bellmead. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church Bellmead, Rev. Murphy as celebrant, burial in St. Martin's Cemetery, Tours. Survivors include four sons, Ben Schroeder of Ross, Martin B. Schroeder of 1025 Hamilton, Anton Schroeder of Lacy-Lakeview and John Schroeder of El Cajon, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. O. C. (Angeline) Schuetz of 525 Crescent, Sister Olga Zotz of Harlingen and Sister Agnes Zotz of Natchez, La.; two brothers, Alois Jupe of San Antonio and Frank Jupe of Tours; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hennig of Hillsboro, Mrs. Emilie Goodman and Miss Bertha Jupe, both of Bellmead, and Sister Leona Jupe of Harlingen, 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Kotch Funeral Home, Bellmead, Texas Waco Tribune Herald, May 3, 1976 Note: Sister Olga Zotz of Harlingen and Sister Agnes Zotz of Natchez, La. who are listed as daughters in the above obituary, are actually Agnes' nieces. They are the daughters of Louis Jacob Zotz and Mary Theresa Jupe (Agnes' sister). Mary Theresa (Jupe) Zotz died at the age of 31 of influenza, and Martin and Agnes (Jupe) Schroeder took the two girls in and raised them as their own.
