Bio

Son of Johnnie Jefferson Martin & Hattie Dilley Martin Laurin was the sixth son of JJ Martin. He is said to have been a charming scamp, often in trouble, a favorite of his sisters. It is said he was killed in a logging accident. He lived in Phoenix/Mechanicsburg community of Yazoo Co. all his life. Martins are like leaves on the ground in Yazoo county and the families are often confused.
