Bio
Fred was the child of Johnnie Jefferson Martin and Hattie Usher Dilley. It is believed he was named for a much loved doctor of the time Dr. Fred Cable. His older sister Julia Inez died just two days later. Cholera was rampant at this time, so they may have died of this disease which had already claimed the life of an older 1/2 sibling Johnnie D. Martin in 1891
