Bio
Glen Rose - Funeral for Oda Wood, 83, of Glen Rose, will be at Martin-Pitts Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Lanham Mill Cemetery near Glen Rose. She died Saturday at a Fort Worth hospital. Mrs. Wood was a lifelong resident of Somervell County and a member of First Baptist Church in Burleson. Survivors include her husband, W. A. Wood of Glen Rose; her son, Marvin Wood of Pittsburg; five daughters, Vera Bewley, Irene Davis, Roberta Petrulo and Darlene Shue, all of Fort Worth and Joy Biggs of Ben Wheeler; a brother, Gus Wilson of Glen Rose; three sisters, Nellie Weaks and Beulah Shook, both of Stephenville, and Ila West of Glen Rose; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandaughter."
