2 articles Published in unknown papers - most likely Glen Rose Reporter or Fort Worth Star Telegram Bean Swallowed by Infant Proves Fatal Glen Rose, March 18.-The 11 month-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Wood of the Post Oak community choked to death on a bean which lodged in its bronchial tube. The infant was hurried to the Cooke-Daniel Hospital at Glen Rose but died before receiving medical attention. Another article: Infant Dies After Bean Lodged in Throat - Last Tuesday Eve. Martha Jean Woods, 10 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Woods of the Post Oak Community died March 16th at a Fort Worth hospital where she had been taken to have a pinto bean removed from her bronchal passage. The baby lodged the bean in her throat Tuesday afternoon and for a time it appeared that it was giving her no trouble, but later it developed to be serious and she died before the bean was removed. Her father and mother, one brother and three sisters survive. Funeral services were conducted last Friday at 3 p.m. b Rev. C. A. Stevenson and interments was made in the Lanham Mill cemetery.
