Daughter of Luke and Lucy Ann Miner. Married William C. Ferrington, a veteran of the Civil War, on 3 March 1867 in Warren county, Illinois. For a time, the couple resided in Missouri, but then separated. Together, they were the parents of one son, Hugh Marshall Ferrington.
