Mrs. Martha Karmazin, 36, dies; funeral services are Saturday LAWRENCE (TNS) -- Mrs. Martha Karmazin, 36, a lifetime resident of Lawrence, died Thursday at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. John Kelly officiating. A scripture service will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Merten-Butler Funeral Chapel at Lawrence. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Jerome; three sons, Kenneth, Jerry, and Timothy, and two daughters, Cheryl and Denise, all at home; her mother Mrs. Adeline Schumm, Lawrence; five brothers, Leroy Schumm, Sylvester, Leonard, and Gilbert, all of Blue Hill and William of Hastings; six sisters, Mrs. Eileen Wescoat, Lexington, Mrs. Alvira Kathman, Blue Hill, Mrs. Lorene Klein and Mrs. Josephine Mangers, both of Roseland, Mrs. Betty Classen, Hastings, and Mrs. Edna Hajny, Clay Center.
