Bio

Her father was František Alexandr and her mother was Antonia Malek. After her husband's death, Antonia decided to move to Arkansas in 1900. Her four youngest children went with her. They returned to Nebraska in 1904 or 1905, purchasing the Riely farm northwest of Lawrence, Nebraska. She and the boys worked the farm, and she spent the rest of her life there. Place: Albrechtice #4 Date of Birth: 31 July 1866 Date of Baptism: 1 August 1866 Name: Ignác, male, originally illegitimate, later legitimatized; Father: (Supplied at later date) František Svoboda, chalupner (owner of a cottage with a small plot for a garden) in Albrechtice, son of Jan Svoboda, Ganzlahner (a peasant owning at least one lán of agricultural land) in Albrechtice, and his wife Agnes, daughter of Anton Fritz, Catholic; Mother: Antonia, daughter of František Alexandr, farmer in Albrechtice, and his wife, Antonia, daughter of Jan Malek, farmer in Olešá, with a good reputation, Catholic; Godparents: Martin Juracka, Pùlláník (farmer who owned half of a lán‚ and among the lower level of the hierarchy) in Blažejovice, and Maria, his wife; Notes: This child was legitimized through the parents' marriage on 31 July 1870 (Marriage Register Vol. I, p. 117). František declared himself as the father and asked to be recorded in the register in the presence of two witnesses - Anton Alexandr and Josef Kanka. /signature/ František Svoboda.
