Bio
W J was the son of James Bentley and Margaret Ann Meliss Ellis Sides. Siblings were Nora Emmaline, Emily Elizabeth, Juley Roxanna, Martha Lu Ida, Henry Grover and Walter Griffin Sides. W J married Celia Caroline Key. Children were William Floyd, Huit Clifton "Jack", Jesse Lemon, Luevada, Maude Lee, Melissa Jane, Mary Ellen, Wilbur Horton, Evie Mae and Ethel Lena Sides. W J and family moved to Childress County about 1914 and bought a farm a mile west of Kirkland. His sister, Nora Key moved with her family of nine children to a farm south of Kirkland to join him in 1916. J W and Celia were members of the Baptist Church in Kirkland.
