Bio
Louis Joseph Reisch , of 1934 South Fifth street, former treasurer of the Reisch Brewing company in Springfield, died at St. John's hospital at 6:45 a.m. Thursday. He was 37 years of age. Mr. Reisch was a member of the Thirty-third division, 130th infantry, during the World War, the outfit in which he enlisted at the time America entered the war. Mr. Reisch was also a trustee of the Reisch Investment company. Surviving are his wife, Cecile; one daughter, Cecile; a son, Louis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Reisch, Sr., of 1504 Lowell avenue; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Reisch Franz, Mrs. Harry Aschauer, Mrs. E.L. Bernard and Mrs. William Meyer; five brothers, George F., Carl M., Edward L. and Joseph A., all of Springfield; and Walter Reisch, of Richland, Nebraska. Remains were removed to the O'Donnell & Staab funeral home and were taken to the residence where funeral services were held and from the Blessed Sacrament church. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.
