Joseph A. Reisch, Brewery Official, Is Taken by Death Joseph A. Reisch , secretary and director of the Reisch Brewing Co., and trustee of the George Reisch Investment Co., died at St. John's hospital at 12:55 p.m. yesterday. He was born in Springfield Aug. 31, 1900. He had been in failing health several months. The body will be removed from Staab funeral home at 4 p.m. today to the residence at 1625 Dial court. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 9 a.m. tomorrow and at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament church, Msgr. M.A. Tarrent officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Reisch attended SS. Peter and Paul's school and was graduated from Springfield High school and St. Mary's college, St. Mary's, Kan. He married Miss Vivien Dressendorfer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Dressendorfer, July 7, 1931. Mr. Dressendorfer is chief of the field division, internal revenue bureau. Mr. Reisch was a member of Blessed Sacrament parish, the Knights of Columbus, council 364; the Elks lodge No. 158; Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Travelers Protective association. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Carolyn; two sons, Joseph, jr., and Franz S. Reisch; his mother, Mrs. George Reisch, sr.; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Franz, Mrs. Henry Ashauer, Mrs Emil Bernard and Mrs. William A. Meyers; four brothers, George F., Karl M., Edward L., all of city; and Walter S. Reisch, Richland, Neb.
