Adele Vanek Bezdek She died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point in Houma. Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. till Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Adele is survived by a daughter, Janet Walker and husband A. Delmar Walker, M.D., of Houma; four sons, Bill and wife Corinne, of Baton Rouge, Jim and Barbara, of Nokomis, Fla., Marvin and wife Toni, of Jarreau, and Dennis and wife Linda, of Russell Springs, Ky.; sister, Estelle Stanislav, of West, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William L. Bezdek; grandson, Jeffrey Bezdek; four brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, William E. Bezdek Jr., Gregory Bedzek, John Bedzek, James B. Bedzek, Todd Bedzek and Scott Bedzek. Adele was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
