Bio

Mrs. Margaret Jane Brinkley, wife of Mr. James Brinkley, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, June 15, 1915, at about 5 o'clock, from an attack of angina pectoris. She had not been particularly unwell, so far as the family had noticed, as she went about the house and the yard around the same in her usual way. But she went and lay down as she frequently did, and in a few minutes she had reached the border land and her spirit took its flight. Mrs. Brinkley was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Harriger, of Limestone Township, where she was born, July 22, 1848, and where she grew to womanhood. She was united in wedlock with James Brinkley on October 11, 1867, in the Immaculate Conception Church, of Clarion, Pa., and her home has been in this place ever since. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mssrs. Albert S., John, George, and Miss Margaret Brinkley, of Clarion, and Mrs. Mary A. Fehrenbach, of New Castle, Pa. She is also survived by brothers and sisters as follows: W. G. Harriger, Dwight, Neb.; Mrs. John Myers, Fremont, Neb.; and Mrs. O. A. Kifer, Scotch Hill, this county. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 a. m. from the Immaculate Conception Church, with Rev. Father H. A. Deckenbrock in charge of the services, and the interment will follow in the Catholic cemetery on Cottage Hill. Clarion Democrat, Clarion, Clarion Co., PA. June 17, 1915
