Suggested edit: Zbranek, Ignac Ignaz[sic] Zbranek Ignac Zbranek, resident of the Garwood community for the past 62 years, passed away at his home Jan. 30 at the age of 73. He was born Dec. 24, 1898 in Fayette County. Last rites ere held in Triska Chapel in El Campo Feb. 2. They were continued with a Mass in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nada. Officiating was The Rev. Henry Rolf. Burial was in Nada Catholic Cemetery. Surviving are 5 daughters, Mrs. Lydia Fucik, Mrs. Alvina Fajkus, Mrs. Edith Kainer and Ms. Viola Kaluza, all of El Campo, and Mrs. Leona Shimek of Wharton; one son, Ben Zbranek of Nada; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Paul Zbranek of Nada; and 2 sisters, Ms. Claudia Vesely of Victoria and Mrs. Tina Mascheck of Fayetteville.
