----------------------- Robert L. Zbranek, aged 39 years, 9 months and 8 days, died at the La Grange Hospital Tuesday evening, after a short illness. Mr. Zbranek was born at Burton and lived in La Grange for the past 18 years. He served as deputy county clerk at La Grange for several years. He is survived by his father, Paul Z. Zbranek of Nada; two brothers, Paul Z. Jr., and I.G. Zbranek of Nada, and seven sisters: Mrs. Frances Laidoss of Taylor, Mrs. Timmie Mascheck of Fayetteville, Mrs. Rose Urbanovsky of El Campo, Mrs. Willie Konvicka of Damon, Mrs. Mary Urbanovsky of Garwood, Mrs. Annie Prihoda of Nada, and Mrs. Clara Talmus of El Campo. Funeral services will be held at the Koenig Funeral Home Chapel Thursday morning, and interment will be made in the Live Oak Hill cemetery near Ellinger, Rev. Father Raska officiating.
