Bio

Herald Coaster, March 28, 1973: Funeral services for Arnold John Sebesta, 64, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at the Garmany and Co. Chapel in Needville. Burial will be in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mr. Sebesta died Tuesday at the Anahuac Hospital. A native of Williamson County, he had been a resident of the Fairchilds Community since he was one year of age. He was a member of the Rosenberg Brethren Church and was a retired farmer and sulphur worker. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Sebesta; three sons, Gene Sebesta of Needville, Daniel Sebesta of Rosenberg, and Wayne Sebesta, also of Rosenberg; nine grandchildren; one brother, Ed Sebesta of Thompsons; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Walenta and Mrs. Joe Schmidt, both of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Emma Lay of Sealy. Friends may call at the Needville chapel after 5 p.m. today.
