Bio

Herald Coaster, May 27, 1965: Funeral services for Walter Joe Sebesta, 66, of Guy, were held Tuesday, May 25, at 2 p.m. from the Presbyterian Church in Needville. Rev. Ed H. Weltge officiated. Mr. Sebesta passed away about 12 a.m. Monday after a long stay in M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. His survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Sebesta of Guy; one son, Oscar Lee Sebesta of Guy; two brothers, Arnold Sebesta of Fairchild and Edmond Sebesta of Thompson; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Walenta and Mrs. Annie Schmidt of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Emma Lay of Sealy; and three grandchildren. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery under the direction of Garmany and Co. Funeral Directors.
