Bio

Herald Coaster, June 16, 1960: Funeral services for Willie A. Sebesta, 64, of Fairchild, were held from the Rosenberg Brethren Church on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Gordon Hejk officiating. Mr. Sebesta was born in Merle in 1895. In 1919, he married Miss Rosa Esterak in Rosenberg. After living in Rosenberg for three years, they moved to Snook where they resided until 1942 when they moved to Fairchild. He passed away at his home Sunday evening following a long illness. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose Sebesta; one son, Larry of Rosenberg; two daughters, Mrs. R.D. Callihan of Rosenberg and Miss Jo Ann Sebesta of Fairchild; four grandchildren; 3 brothers, Walter and Arnold of Guy, Edmond of Thompson; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Walenta of Rosenberg, Mrs. Joe Schmidt of Rosenberg, Mrs. Owen Lay of Sealy. Pallbearers were Emil Jakubik, Joe Walenta, Frank Kovar, Stash Stavinoha, Vaclav Vacek, and Bill Krenek. Interment was made in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, with the Trisk Funeral Home directing.
