Note: There is also a memorial for Milady in the Byrd Cemetery in Rosenberg. Her obituary states that she was buried in the W.O.W. Cemetery (now known as Rosenberg Cemetery). Herald Coaster, October 7, 1997: Funeral services for Milady M. Walenta, 96, were held at the Woodmen of the World Cemetery in Rosenberg. Officiating the service was Rev. Charles Teykl. She died Oct. 4, 1997 at the S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home in Needville. Mrs. Walenta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg, S.P.J.S.T., and Royal Neighbors. She is survived by one granddaughter, Patsy Ashley; two great-grandsons, Patrick Ashley and Shawn Ashley; and one great-great-granddaughter, Cierra Ashley, all of Needville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Walenta, and a daughter, Olivia Martinets . Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg.
