Herald Coaster, March 21, 1995: Funeral services for Wayne Sebesta, age 55, of Needville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at the Garmany and Carden Chapel in Needville. Burial will be in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mr. Sebesta died on Sunday, March 19, 1995, at the Leisure Lodge Convalescent Center in Rosenberg. He was born on July 5, 1939 in Sugar Land. He worked in construction as a carpenter, and he enjoyed hunting and fushing. He is survived by wife, Bonnie Sebesta of Needville; children, Nathan Sebesta and wife, Letty, of Needville, Darrell Sebesta of Needville, Kimberly Brdecka of Rosenberg, Russell Sebesta of Needville, Jason Sebesta of Needville, and Jessica Sebesta of Needville; stepchildren, Patricia Bennett of Needville and Russell Heiman of Needville; mother, Gertrude Sodolak of Needville; grandchildren, Jerry Brdecka IV of Rosenberg, Tyler and Drew Sebesta of Needville; two brothers, Gene Sebesta of Rosenberg, and Daniel Sebesta and wife, Rene, of Needville; and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the V.A. Hospital. Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Tuesday at Garmany and Carden Funeral Home in Needville.
