Bio

She was the daughter of James and Sarah Breeding. She married Thomas Hurst, 27 July 1786, Shenandoah, Virginia. This young family migrated to Claiborne County Tennessee in the early 1800's. They attended the Big Spring Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband and her son, Hiram, were both preachers here. She was the mother of twelve known children; 1. Aaron b-24 Jan 1787, m-Sara McNew 2.
