Pierce County Leader; Pierce, Nebraska; Thu., Jan. 27, 1972, P. 12 California Rites For Frances Moss Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Moss who died January 17 of pneumonia were held at St. Stephan's Catholic Church Friday, January 21 in Monterey Park, California. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery nearby. Mrs. Frances Moss was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Florian Fuchs and was born August 21, 1909 on her parents farm southwest of Pierce. On June 28, 1932 she was married to Edwin Fricke at St. Joseph Church by Father Theo. Mester. They had one daughter, Marica Rose, who died in infancy. Several years later they moved to Los Angeles, California and her husband died January 4, 1944. In 1949 she married Fred Moss and they made their home in Monterey Park, California. In 1968 her husband, Fred Moss, passed away. Surviving her death are six sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Promes of Harington, Mrs. Reinhard (Julia) Ronspies of Pierce, Mrs. George (Elisabeth) Hahn of Albion, Nebraska, Mrs. Joseph (Monica) Schott, Osceola, Nebraska, Mrs. William (Anna) Haschke of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Quentin (Ceil) Clark of San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; four brothers, Frank, Florian, John and Mike Fuchs, and one sister, Johanna Sudbeck.
