Bio

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Kindle, 88 year old mother of John Foster Kindle, Walter Henry Kindle and Elzy Franklin Kindle of Childress, died early today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.H. (Ella Lou) King in Pampa. She had made her home there for the past several months. Preceding her in death were her husband and two daughters, Mrs. L.M. (Tabitha Ann) Huggins and Mrs. R.H. (Lucy E.) Peters. She was born November 27, 1866 in Decatur County, Tennessee and came to this county in 1906. She made her home here until moving to Pampa. Funeral arrangements are pending under direction of the Newberry Funeral Home. Survivors include thee other sons, Delmas Leon Kindle of Lefors, Sylvester V. Kindle of Kilgore, Alvy Arnold Kindle of Longview; three daughters, Mrs. J.H. (Ella Lou) King of Pampa, Mrs. Mary Hall of Odessa and Mrs. E.J. (Icy Evelyn) Lankford of Keys, California; 47 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. The Childress Index December 3, 1954 Submitted by Angie Mitchell Martin
