Bio

Delmas Leon Kindle, 63, a Lefors resident since 1942, died at 12:05 pm Friday at Worley Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lefors Church of Christ. Officiating will be Doyle Harris, minister of the Church of Christ at Mustang, Oklahoma, assisted by Glen Walton, minister of Pampa's Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in the Olympus Community Cemetery in Childress County under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Kindle, born November 30, 1911 in Childress County, retired from Atlantic Richfield earlier this year after 30 years of service. He married Mabel Polly Mitchell in 1932 at Childress and was a member and elder of the Church of Christ here. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Bill D. and Fred, both of Pampa; two brothers, Syl of Gilmer and Elzy of Childress, three sisters, Mrs. Henry King of Pampa, Mrs. Icy Langford of Modesto, California and Mrs. Mary Hall, Childress; and four grandchildren.
