Bio

Mrs. Emma Lander, 88 years, West Rest Haven, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in West Rest Haven. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald, Rev. Otto Marshall officiating, burial in Gerald Cemetery. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lyida Schuetz, Elm Mott, Mrs. R. S. (Marie) Bates, 3812 Frederick, Mrs Louis (Irene) Janke, Elm Mott; seven sons, Ernest Lander, West, Otto Lander, Felix Lander, both of Elm Mott, Alvin Lander, 111 Norma, Herman Lander, West, Herbert Lander, San Antonio, Julius Lander, 3529 Bosque Blvd.; two brothers, Will Heine, 2329 N. 39th, Julius Heine, New Jersey; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Body will lie in state at church from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday morning. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Family will be at the Lewis Janke residence at Route 1, Elm Mott. Kotch Funeral Home, West, Texas.
