Julius G.( Buddy) Lander, 71 of Waco died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at Gerald Cemetery with the Rev. Jane Lovett officiating. The family will receive visitors at Brookview Funeral Home. Julius G. Lander was born March 13, 1928, in Leroy Texas. He retired after 20 yrs. in the Air Force. He received several decorations for service to his country. He married Patricia Clare on July 9, 1960 in Essex, England. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lander of Waco; five sons, Lynn, Henry, John and Paul Lander all of Waco; as well as son Melvin Lander of Dallas; sisters Maria Bates and her husband Scottie, and Irene Janke of Waco; a brother Herman Lander and his wife Martha of West; a sister-in-law Gracie Lander; four grandchildren, Lelcie, Justin, and Katlyn Lander and Amber Christian, and several nieces and nephews.
