Bio

Mrs. Lydia L. Schuetz, 71, of 311 South Charles in Elm Mott died Monday at a Waco Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Church in Gerald, the Rev. Walter Albers officiating. Burial will be in Gerald Cemetery. Mrs. Schuetz was born April 2, 1914 in McLennan County. She married Carl A. Schuetz. He preceded her in death in 1963. She was a former employee of Wood Manufacturing Co. and worked in quality control. She retired in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church in Gerald. Survivors include a son, Virgil G. Scheutz of Elm Mott; a daughter, Carol A. Rodriguez of San Antonio; three brothers, Alvin Lander of Northcrest, Herman Lander of West, and Julius Lander of Waco; two sisters, Maria Bates and Irene Janke both of Waco; and two grandchildren.
