Ernest D. Lander, 66, of Route 2, West died Sunday night in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Gerald. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time, Rev. Otto Marshall officiating, burial in Gerald Cemetery. Survivors: His wife, Mrs. Goldie Lander; a son, Elwood Lander of Bellmead; two daughters, Mrs. Quinton (Virgia) Geltmeier of Bastrop and Mrs. Roman LaVerne Kapczynski of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Schuetz of Elm Mott, Mrs. R. S. (Marie) Bates of 3812 Frederick in Waco and Mrs. Lewis (Irene) Janke of Route 1, Elm Mott; six brothers, Otto Lander and Felix Lander, both of Elm Mott, Alvin Lander of 111 Norma in Waco, Herman Lander of West, Herbert Lander of San Antonio and Julius Lander of 3529 Bosque in Waco; and five grandchildren.
