Bio

Louis Henry Heine married Mary Elizabeth Willenborg on November 28, 1894 at St. Martin's Rectory, Tours, McLennan Co., Texas. They were married by Rev. J. B. Gleissner. Louis Henry Heine was a Lutheran. Mary Elizabeth (Willenborg) Heine became ill with typhoid fever due to drinking contaminated water. She was pregnant with their fourth child and could not take the medication needed for the cure. She died on September 8, 1900. Louis was left with three small children to raise. He took the children and went to live with his parents, Ernest and Emilia (Tishler) Heine, who were living in West, Texas. Louis married Emma Wilkening on January 6, 1903 in Washington County, Texas.
