Maiden name Stevenson. Birthplace is Guernsey County, Ohio. Hannah Johnson (60100468) Lawrence County News IL on Wed, 17 July 1918 Pg 7 "OBITUARY Hannah Johnson daughter of Frederick and Harriett Stevenson, was born in Gernzy (Guernsey) county, Ohio, March 21, 1840; died at the home of her son John Johnson, July 2, 1918, aged 78 years, 3 months, and 11 days. In her earlier days with her parents she moved to the state of Indiana and settled on a farm near Ft. Wayne. In the year 1863, following her marriage, she came to Crawford county, Illinois, and has been a resident of this county and Vincennes ever since. At the age of 17 she was united in marriage to Geo. W Johnson at Ft. Wayne, Ind., To this union 11 children were born, six of whom with her husband preceded her to the other shore--Etta and Robert in infancy, Edward at the age of eight, Melvin at the age of ten, Albert at the age of three and Ardella aged 21. Five children survive to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother: John and Abe Johnson, Mrs. Alonzo Lindsay, Mrs. Frank Hayes and Mrs. Samuel Seaney, besides a circle of relatives and friends who will greatly miss her. The deceased was a member of the United Brethren church, living constantly a devoted Christian life. When the end came, she expressed herself as being ready and willing to go that the Lord might soon take her out of her suffering."
