Wellington Leader February 5, 2015 Lucille Motsenbocker age 94 of Wellington died on February 5, 2015. Services will be at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Church of Christ, with Phil Collard, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Sammie Motsenbocker, Jason Fike, Tony Fike, Justin Butler, Richard Taylor, Zia Ali, and Jesse Garcia. She was born on May 21, 1920 in Arlie Community of Childress County, to Robin A. and Della P. Collins Covey. She married Sammie Motsenbocker on February 18, 1940 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He died in 1991. She was preceded in death by a grandson Randy Charles Motsenbocker, Jr. and four brothers, Avril, James, Rubin and Fred Covey. Lucille was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to quilt and was active in the RSVP after her husband death. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Fike and husband Raymond of Wellington; 3 sons Albert Motsenbocker and wife Joan of Quanah, Bobby Motsenbocker and his wife Victoria of Phoenix, Arizona and Randy Motsenbocker and wife Beth of Childress; a brother Bobby Jack Covey and wife Teresa of Torrance, California; 2 sisters in law, Odessa Covey of Wellington and Catherine Covey of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, Sammie Motsenbocker, Lynn Motsenbocker, Amber Butler, Tony Fike, Jason Fike, Shawn Willibey, Tracey Leatherwood, LaRanda Motsenbocker, Sarah Motsenbocker, Molly Motsenbocker, and Cheryl Motsenbocker; 11 great-grandchildren, Cobie Motsenbocker, Chanda Crane, Karcynn and Konner Kemp, Kaitonn Butler, Hailey and Trey Motsenbocker, Mathew Hunter, and Josie Leatherwood and Ryan Rix; and a great-great grandson Tristan Crane.
