Randy Motsenbocker, 71, of Wellington passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1952, in Wellington, to Sammie A. and Lucille Covey Motsenbocker. He attended school at Dodson until it closed and graduated from Wellington High School in 1971 after attending there his last 2 years and then attended Amarillo College. Randy married Beth Peters on June 3, 1972, in Wellington. He farmed most of his life and later drove a truck for a while. Randy was a member of the Church of Christ and a former member of the Wellington Rodeo Association. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son Randy Charles Motsenbocker, Jr. in 1985. Randy is survived by his wife Beth of Wellington; 3 daughters LaRanda Motsenbocker of Childress, Sarah Motsenbocker of Grapevine, and Molly Motsenbocker of Fort Worth; a sister Shirley Fike and her husband Raymond of Wellington; 2 brothers Albert Motsenbocker and his wife Joan of Quanah and Bobby Motsenbocker and his wife Vicki of Glendale, AZ. Memorial services for Randy will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
