Son of William Norton and Henrietta Mary Ellen Tharp Young. Married Emma Mary Vieregge, the widow of his brother, James Noah Young, on Oct 6, 1904 in Pflugerville, Travis Co., Texas. They had the following children: Miles Arthur Young Saint Elmo Young Ethel Lea Young After Emma's death in 1910, he married Mary Katye Williams in 1912. They were parents of Willie Mae Young.
