Bio

My great grandmother was the 7th child of John Henry Vieregge and Charlotte Sophia Kamman. She married James Noah Young on Nov 29, 1893 at Rockdale, Milam Co., Texas. After they were married, they lived in Killeen, Bell, Texas where all of their children were born. James Walter Young Rosa Mae Young Kamman Mary Lona Young Pierce Ida Bell Young Moore - Grandmother Emma was widowed at age 25 when Noah died from pneumonia on March 23, 1903 at age 28 in Killeen. She was left with her small children, ages 6 months to 7 years old when he died. Emma then married Noah's brother, Miles Ealon Young, on Oct. 6, 1904 at Pflugerville,Travis Co., Texas. They had three children, Miles Arthur Young Saint Elmo Young Ethel Lee Young Carpenter Emma died at age 32, 7 years after her first husband, leaving seven children ages 22 months to 16 years old. She is buried at Bethany Cemetery (per her mother's Bible record), but the grave has been lost.
