Son of William Norton and Henrietta Mary Ellen Tharp Young. Married Bertha L. McDaniel on June 4, 1920. Children: Ralph Melvin Young Carene Young Lewis Helen Vera Young William Harvey Young Avis Marie Young Dotson Friday, July 10, 1981 Marble Falls - William Dewey Young, 82, of Marble Falls died Wednesday, July 8, 1981. Services were held at 2 p.m. at Edgar Memorial Chapel in Burnet. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in the Taylor City Cemetery. Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Carene Lewis of Marble Falls and Mrs. Avis Dotson of Kyle; eight granchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
