CAMPBELL, Mrs. Cordye of Taylor. Age 74. Died 9/15/1964 (Tuesday) in a Taylor hospital. Services held (Thursday) at Condra Memorial Chapel, Taylor. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. Guy Harris of Taylor officiated. She was born 4/5/1890 in Round Rock and a lifelong resident of Central Texas. Member of the Christian Church. SURVIVORS: 4 daughters, Mrs.Ted Weaver of Houston, Mrs. Beaulah Swenson of Austin, Mrs. L.W. Ward of San Angelo and Mrs. Jimmy J. Franks of Vicksburg, MS.; son, W.E. Ward of Austin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Katye Gregory of Thorndale and Mrs. Dolly Yarbrough of Houston; 3 brothers, Claude Young of Killeen, Dewey Young of Austin and Monroe Young of Waco; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. [ [email protected] ] ∼ Daughter of Nort and Henrietta Young. She married John Wesley Ward June 4, 1905 in Milam Co. They had the following children: Bessie Ward Weaver Beula Bell Ward Swenson Velma Lee Ward William Ewing Ward Peggy Joyce Ward Franks After John's death she married Jody A. Campbell on June 1, 1940 in Williamson Co.
