She then married Clifford L. Huntley on October 19, 1974. They lived in Galesburg until moving to Monmouth in October 1975. She was a member of Heritage United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Maxine) Ricketts of Monmouth and Mrs. Lloyd (Eudora) Waggoner of Richmond, Va.; a son, Verne T. Spicer Jr. of Tell City, Ind.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Reynolds of Monmouth and Mrs. Edna Kniss of Victoria; and two brothers, Ralph Farrington of Monmouth and Lewis Farrington of Denver, Colorado. (Note - of her brothers and sisters, only Ralph and Lewis were given the spelling Farrington on their birth certificates, the spelling which Ralph used; Lewis was adopted young, and his name changed from Lewis Clark Farrington to Louis M. Emery. His name was given as Lewis Farrington in Ruth's obituary). Her first husband, Verne, her sister Wanda Marie, and brothers Kenneth Creigh and Elmer Hugh Ferrington preceded her in death.
