Bio

Son of Hugh Marshall Ferrington and Margaret Elizabeth Coats. Elmer married Mary Etta Weech on 17 December 1934 in Oneida, Knox County, Illinois. They farmed on the Weech homestead in Knox County until Elmer retired, then moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida. The couple had no children. Elmer's wife preceded him in death on 9 July 1962. He was survived by two brothers and three sisters, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
