Mrs. Willie (Albina) Vitek, age 83, of West, formerly of Allen, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 29, 1994 in West Community Hospital. Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:45 p.m. today in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Vitek was born December 15, 1910 in Bomarton and had lived in Penelope for a number of years and the Plano-Allen area for 25 years before moving to West a year ago. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Allen, and was a homemaker. She married Willie Vitek in 1934 at Penelope. He preceded her in death June 19, 1989. Survivors include one son, Henry Vitek of Allen; three brothers, Louis Sykora of West, John Sykora and Joe Sykora, both of Dallas; three sisters, Louise Matus of Bellmead, Janie Petter of Dallas and Martha Gajdica of DeSoto; and two grandsons.
