Frank J. Kolar Dies, 102 Survive Frank J. Kolar, 85, a native of Czechoslovakia, died at his home on Route 1, at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Mar. 5. He is survived by 102 living descendants, including 65 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Mr. Kolar settled in this community 37 years ago after having previously moved to the United States from what is now Czechoslovakia. He had been a farmer all his life. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church at Abbott at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Charles W. Smid officiating, assisted by Rev. E.J. Polcak. He is survived by his widow; five sons, Emil A. Kolar of Abbott and Frank R., Joe, Anton and Edward Kolar of West; five daughters, Mrs. Agnes Nors of Abbott, Mrs. Caroline Kucerk of Irene, Mrs. Millie Kaska, Mrs. Anthony Kramolis and Miss Frances Kolar of West; 65 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
