Joe J. Kolar Funeral Rites Held Monday Funeral services for Joe J. Kolar, 58, of West were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the West Church of the Assumption. Rev. James Quilter officiated with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery here. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Chapel. Mr. Kolar died at his home early Saturday following a short illness. He was born in West and had lived here all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of the Assumption and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Christine Kolar; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Bates of Lacy-Lakeview and Mrs. Lillian Slovacek of Euless; four brothers, Emil Kolar of Aquilla, Frank Kolar, Ed Kolar and Anton Kolar, all of West; four sisters, Mrs. Bob Kramolis, Mrs. Charles Kaska, both of West, Mrs. Agnes Nors of Dallas and Mrs. Adolph Kocurek of Itasca; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Kaska of Abbott, Milton Kolar of Aquilla, Jimmy Holecek of Waco, and Adolph Kolar, Edward Kolar and Edward Karlik, all of West.
