Mrs. Kaska Killed In Collision; Rites Held Mon. A West woman was killed and two men injured in a two-car collision on Farm Road 2311 near West at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Emillie Kaska, 71, of Route 2, West, was dead on arrival at Grant-Buie Medical Center in Hillsboro. Her husband, Charles Kaska, 72, and Otto Heitmiller, 82, of West, driver of the other car, were in fair condition at Grant-Buie Hospital Saturday. Highway patrolman Henry Kluck said the head-on collision occurred when one of the drivers apparently lost control of his car and crossed into the opposite-bound traffic lane. Rosary for Mrs. Kaska was recited at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Kaska was born in Corn Hill and had lived in the West area for the past 67 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She also belonged to the Altar-Rosary Society of the church. She belonged to the KJZT Lodge No. 11 in West. Survivors are her husband; six sons, Charles Kaska, Jr., of Route 2, West, John Kaska of Hillsboro, Robert Kaska of Lott, Edward Kaska of Arlington, Louis Kaska of Fort Worth, William Kaska of Garland; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Caroline) Sulak of Osceola, Mrs. Bernard (Agnes) Jones of Garland; four brothers, Emil Kolar of Abbott, Frank Kolar of Route 2, West, Anton Kolar of West and Edward Kolar of Route 1, West; three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Kocurek of Itasca, Mrs. Agnes Nors of Waco, Mrs. Bob Kramolis of West; and 22 grandchildren.
