The Clay County Republican (Clay Center, NE), Friday, March 27, 1903; pg. 1 MARRIAGE LICENSES. The following marriage licenses were issued during the week: Fred Maixner and Mary Cecava, both of Deweese. =================== The Hastings Daily Tribune (Hastings, NE), Monday, December 17, 1951; pg. 13 Mrs. Fred Maixner Dies Saturday DEWEESE (TNS) - Mrs. Fred Maixner, 68, died at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Saturday night. Survivors include her husband, Fred; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Hamersky, Mrs. William Kucera and Mrs. Rudolph Gruntorad, all of Deweese, and two sons, Fred and Albert, also of Deweese. The Rosary will be recited at the family home two miles north of Deweese Tuesday at 8 p. m. The Rev. Gregory Petrus of St. Martin's Church will conduct the funeral Mass Wednesday at 10 at the church. Burial will be lii the Louchky (sic) cemetery (sic). The McLaughlin Funeral Home at Fairfield is in charge.
