Bruce Garver who manages this Memorial wrote the following "bio" of Agnes (Cecava) Lukas (1881-1932) on November 30, 2021. Agnes was born to Norbert Cecava (1855-1942) and Josefa "Josie" (Bednar) Cecava (1857–1944) on January 20, 1881, in Stepanovice, Okres Brno-venkov, Jihomoravský kraj (South Moravian Region),Czech Republic. At the time of Agnes Cecava's birth, Stepanovice was a Czech-speaking community within the Austro-Hungarian Empire (1867-1918), one of whose post-World War I successor states was the Czechoslovak Republic. Circa 1898 in Nebraska, Agnes Cecava wed Joseph P. Lukas (1868-1942); and together they raised six children whose FAG Memorials are below linked to each other and to those of their parents. Agnes (Cecava) Lukas died at Blue Hill in Webster County, Nebraska, on January 4, 1932, sixteen days before her fifty-first birthday in 1932 and was interred in Blue Hill Catholic Cemetery at Blue Hill in Webster County, Nebraska.
