Bio

Mrs. Ed Deiterman, age 87, of West, passed away early Sunday morning, November 22, 1987 at West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 22 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Msgr. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Deiterman was born March 6, 1900 in Tours, daughter of Anton and Otille Uptmor. She married Ed Deiterman at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours on November 15, 1920. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1977. She was a housewife, a fifty-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, a member of West Community Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. A.R. (Dorothy) Havel and Mrs. Emil J. (Pearl) Fridel both of West; two sisters, Mrs. L. H. Deiterman of Temple and Mrs. Theresa Rauschuber of West; four grandchildren, James Havel of Port Lavaca, Mary Ann Kubacak and Carol Hernandez both of Round Rock, and Edward Havel of West; and ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ted Uptmore, Daniel Deiterman, Raymond Weinberger, Arthur Deiterman, Billy Uptmor and Truman Middleton. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
