Rites Held In Louisiana For Robert Uptmor Robert Uptmor, 70, of New Orleans, La., passed away Feb. 20 after an illness of several months. The funeral mass was held in the Catholic Church in New Orleans on Feb. 22, with burial in the New Orleans Cemetery. Mr. Uptmor was a native of Texas and for many years was chief equipment man for the American Telephone and Telegraph Co. He retired in January, 1963, after more than 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, the former Beatrice Comiskey; a son, Major Robert E. Uptmor of Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho; three grandsons; two brothers, Frank Uptmor of Pleasanton, Texas and Herman Uptmor of West; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Deiterman of West, Mrs. L.H. Deiterman of Temple and Mrs. Ted Rauschuber of Gainesville; several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are a number of cousins, nieces and nephews from the Tours Community.
